Win yourself a free sofa from the Sofa Clearance Outlet by entering our free prize draw.  Choose a sofa, corner, chairs or footstools upto the value of £1000 delivered for free to your home.

1. THE PROMOTER

Sofology Limited ( a company registered in England and Wales, 01778734, Ashton Road, Golborne, Warrington, WA3 3UL) trading as the “Sofa Clearance Outlet” is the promoter of this prize draw (the “Promoter”). 

1. PRIZE

The prize will be furniture sold by Sofa Clearance Outlet to the value of £1000. This can be part payment towards furniture.  New purchases only.   If you choose furniture less than the £1000 the remaining monies will not be returned. Cannot be used to pay off existing balances.

There are no other prizes or cash alternatives.

1. ELIGIBILITY  

To be eligible to participate in the prize draw you must:

• Be a UK resident;
• Be over the age of 18 years old;
• Not be employed by the Promoter or are related or connected with anyone who is employed by the Promoter or any of the DFS group of companies.

Proof of age, identity and eligibility may be requested.

The prize draw opens at Monday 31st Jan 2022  and ends at Sunday 2nd April 2022  (inclusive).  

No purchase is necessary to enter this prize draw.  

The Promoter will not reimburse any expenses incurred in making an entry to this prize draw.

The Promoter will not accept responsibility for prize draw entries that are lost, including as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, network, server or software failure of any kind. The Promoter will not accept proof of transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the prize draw.

One entry per household.

1 entry per person, All eligible entries will be entered into the draw.

1. THE WINNER

The winner will be the first entry selected from all eligible entries by an electronic random draw on Monday 3rd April 2022

The winner will be contacted by the Promoter via private message on Facebook/instagram and /or email.   If no response is received within 5  days ,  then the Promoter reserves the right to select another winner by way of second electronic random draw. This process will be repeated until a winner is found. 

The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.

The decision of the Promoter as to who the winner is, is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation, the Promoter will publish the name and winning entry (including details of any runners up) on its Instagram Facebook and Twitter accounts  with a copy of the winning entry.

If you object to your name, county and winning entry being published or made available by the Promoter, please contact the Promoter on Instagram or  Facebook. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Agency upon request.

1. CLAIMING THE PRIZE

If you are the winner, the Promoter will deliver the prize to you.

Please note that the Promoter will deliver to mainland UK addresses only. 

1. DATA PROTECTION AND PUBLICITY

Personal details provided to the Promoter in relation to this prize draw will be processed and used in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.  Please read this carefully before proceeding. These can be found on our website at www.dfs.co.uk/privacy-policy. By entering the prize draw you consent to such processing.

1. GENERAL

The Promoter reserves the right to  suspend, cancel or amend this prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so. 

The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are unable to take up the prize.

The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss damage, injury or disappointment whatsoever which may be suffered by you as a result of or in connection with or arising out of or as a result of you entering this prize draw except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.  Your statutory rights are not affected.

7.1 Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter will not in any circumstances by responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any disappointment, loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up your prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter or its employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry if it is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize draw. In particular entries submitted in bulk (that is more entries than a human being could submit in the time available without the use of software or other devices designed to make automatic entries) will not be accepted.

The Promoter reserves the right to change these prize draw terms and conditions at any time without notice. If so, updated terms and conditions will be displayed on this website so please check regularly for any revisions.

The Promoter will not be liable to reimburse expenses incurred in making an entry to the prize draw.  

The prize draw is subject to the Promoter’s general terms and conditions.

This prize draw is not  endorsed, sponsored or administered by Facebook, Instagram or Twitter in any way.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
