Sofa Clearance Outlet - Terms and Conditions.


The Sofa Clearance Outlet is a trading name of Sofology Limited, a company registered in England and Wales with registered number 01778734 whose registered office is at Ashton Road, Golborne, Warrington, WA3 3UL.


Items sold in this store have been checked and graded by us and are clearly ticketed to be within any of the following categories:



Sofa Clearance Outlet - applies to sofas and accessories


Clearance:


This is stock that is excess, samples, discontinued items, or a cancelled order that is as new. This is a fast moving category and so is sold on a first come first served basis.


Ex-Display:


This is stock that has been within a store environment. It will be free from any major defects but not in a new condition which is reflected in the pricing. Any defects are clearly indicated on the tickets.  This is a fast moving category and so is sold on a first come first served basis.


Customer Returned:


This is stock that has been in or to a customer's home and has been returned to us, checked and deemed to be in nearly new condition. It may have minor defects or damage but these are clearly indicated on the tickets.


No warranty or guarantee is given by us or any manufacturer  in relation to the items purchased from this store. Your statutory rights are not affected.



Sofa Clearance Seconds - applies to sofas and accessories.


Customer Returned:


This is stock that has been in a customer's home and has been returned to us, checked and deemed to be in a usable condition. It may have signs of use, defects or damage and a level of wear and tear and the condition is reflected in the prices shown.  It is generally fast moving and is sold on a first come first served basis.


Imperfect:


This stock has been damaged but is not a customer return. It may have signs of use, defects or damage and a level of wear and tear and the condition is reflected in the prices shown.

It is generally fast moving and is sold on a first come first served basis.


No warranty or guarantee is given by us or any manufacturer in relation to the items purchased from this store.  Your statutory rights are not affected.

Collection

Collection of your items is available from the Sofa Clearance Outlet at  Kew Retail Park, Southport, PR8 5RG.  You can collect your items during the hours of 11am - 6pm Monday to Saturday and 11am - 5pm Sundays.

You must make all arrangements for collection.


  • All furniture will be wrapped and packaged to ensure that it is safe in transit.
  • Instructions will be given on where to park your vehicle.
  • The colleagues in store will  be able to bring furniture to the outside of the collection door but you will need to ensure that you have the ability to place your items in your vehicle yourself.
  • As far as is legally possible we are not responsible for any damage caused to you or your vehicle in carrying or transporting the items from the Sofa Clearance Outlet. 



Delivery


All items purchased from the Sofa Clearance Outlet must be removed from the store within 7 days. If the order has not been delivered or collected within this time period your  order will be cancelled, fully refunded by the same method by which you purchased the items and restocked for sale.


Delivery costs are additional - they are not included in the item ticket prices shown.  We can assist with delivery as set out below. 


Delivery Options


  1. In your home today options -  self collection from store during the store opening hours. 
  2. We offer full UK mainland delivery of your furniture  
  3. You are responsible for making sure that either you  or an adult (18 years or over) that is authorised to accept and sign for the delivery on your behalf, is available to accept and sign for the delivery.
  4. Deliveries will be made to the address given when ordered.
  5. If the item cannot be delivered or does not fit on delivery then it is your responsibility to work with the delivery company to find a solution.  We are happy for items to be returned to us for you to reselect provided that you notify us straightaway that the items are unsuitable and return them to us unused and in the same condition of sale  within 7 days.  You would need to arrange and pay for the return of the item to us further details about returns and packaging of  items are set out below.
  6. Any steps that we take to assist with third party delivery companies will be in the capacity of an introducer.  We don’t receive any commission from the delivery companies that we introduce you to and any issues arising in relation to delivery will be between you and the delivery company.

Single Accessory items purchased without a sofa are collect from store only. 


Accessory items ordered with a sofa can be delivered with the sofa or collected from store.


Ownership:


You will become the owner of the items at the point of purchase.  Risk in the items  passes to you once you or someone on your behalf ( including your delivery company)  has taken the items  out of the store.  It is your responsibility if the items  are damaged during the transit from the Sofa Clearance Outlet to your home.  If you are using a third party delivery you may wish to discuss insurance for your items during delivery.

All our prices are inclusive of VAT


Ordering and Payment

Methods of payment accepted are:

  1. Debit/Credit card

We do not take cash payments


Cancelling or Amending a Purchase made in Store


-Day of order - free to amend or cancel.

-Items do not fit on delivery - We are happy for you to reselect in-store however you are responsible for making arrangements for returning the item to us ( including paying any third party delivery company).  Items must be  returned to Sofa Clearance Outlet, Kew Retail Park, Southport, PR8 5RG within 7 days in the  same condition and packaging as when you purchased them and should not show any signs of use.  We can only accept returns during store opening hours stated above. 


Cancelling or Amending a Purchase made Online Purchases


If you have purchased on-line and have  never previously seen the items  then you have right to cancel your contract within a 14 day period.  Details are on our website as to how this period is calculated.  It you wish to cancel you are responsible for arranging and paying for the return of the items  to us.  Items must be returned to Sofa Clearance Outlet, Kew Retail Park, Southport, PR8 5RG in the same condition and packaging as when you purchased them and should not show any signs of use.  We can only accept returns during the store opening hours stated above.  Your statutory rights are not affected.
